Oh Baby It’s Cold

I know what cold winter weather feels like, being born and raised in Alaska I know how to dress for the Cold!  We Alaskans know how to stay warm, mostly by wearing fur, down and wool.  Growing up I spent a lot of time outdoors even if it was cold.  As and adult I still crave being outdoors, but now staying warm must be functional and fashionable!  Here are some Alaskan inspired parkas.

  1. I have a fox fur parka that is in excellent shape. It is about 48 years old and was purchased in Adak. I would like to sell it but not sure how to do this. Mine is very much like the 3/4 length fox parka you have shown. I thought to have it appraised, but I’d have to send it somewhere to have that done, and I just can’t risk the coat not being returned. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
