Fall is when we pile on the layers. When shopping for Fall clothing, take into account your Basics and the Trends. Basics are those staples that you already own: jeans, leggings, sweaters, scarves, button downs, boots and coats. Trends are items that make your basics more specific: what kind of cuts, and popular colors & fabrics found on the runway. Some items are timeless and will never change, the classics: black leggings, jean shirts, trench coats, white button downs, ballerina flats and boots. Rule of thumb, stick with the basics, always have the classics and add a couple trendy items. Most trends come around sooner or later, so if you buy an expensive trendy item, hold on to it!

If you’re like me then your addicted to your summer fav’s, but as the weather gets cooler you can still wear some items. Just edit your looks by adding and layering clothing to your summer outfits.
Shorts~ keep wearing them. Instead of a tank, wear a T and add a sweater or blazer.
Sundresses~ ditch the sandals and add boots and layer with a blouse, jacket or sweater.
Crop tops- For those of us who wouldn’t dare try this trend, now it’s our time! As we can layer and cover up but still make that statement!
Skirts- stockings and socks with boots or pumps!
Denim~ if you love wearing your jeans with tanks and sandals or flip flops, just switch out the shoes for loafers or ankle boots and layer up your tops.
White T-shirt~ keep wearing them! There’s nothing more effortless than a white T!
I’m so loving the crop tops, airy knit sweaters, cut off jeans, lace tops, gypsy feeling clothing, florals, prints, boyfriend jeans, tanks and how everything is carelessly put together~it’s summer style on steroids! So gorg and beautiful, the mix of styles, colors and textures! So much inspiration to be worn and oh, so many fun places! Summer = a merge of all things carefree and great.
Don’t just wear red for the holidays. Red can be a staple color. Everyone likes the way the color looks, so you’ll be making people around you smile! Why wouldn’t you want to wear Red!
