Beach Calling

A quote I saw that I just can’t get out of my head, “I Long for Salt Air in my Hair”.  I’m thinking about long lazy days spent at the beach with my boys.  The beach is where so many of our summer memories are made with family and friends.  I’m ready!

One Scoop or Six? New England and Old Fashion Ice Cream

Scoop Deck in Wells, Maine is like an adult ice cream dream come true with oh, are you ready for this, 72 flavors to choose from!  Not only do they offer ‘old fashion’ ice cream that is oh so yummy, but they offer an old fashion feel good experience.  The feeling you get when your there is that it’s ok to not take yourself serious at all, kinda like when you were a kid and everything was fun and easy.  The Scoop Deck fills my tummy and mind with a smile, so much so that it can be addictive!  The prices are right, and the scoops are ginormous and perfectly creamy, bursting with flavors that will bring you back to old summer days.

How much do you love their street sign!!

Oh boy, the decisions!

A clever sign posted to the right of the door~ take time to read it!

Maine = Lobster

I made the mistake of ordering a small… it was 2 scoops! oops!

Someday I will splurge and order the ‘six scoop’!

These messages around the “Scoop Deck” are what make this place a fun experience.

The ice cream descriptions.  There are several old fashion and specialty flavors to choose from.

  This bike is located to the left of the front steps.  If you can’t decide then the descriptions are attached to this bike.

My favorite sign at the Scoop Deck!
